A nice small restaurant which serves simple but tasty local food. The staff does not speak English, only Italian. Reasonable pricing for a dish which includes salad and a main course. No cards are accepted, and the exchange rate for cash EUR to CHF is 1 to 1.

Die Osteria Pineta ist ein typisch Tessinerisches Lokal. Zu meiner grossen Freude genau wie erwartet. Die Betreiberin ebenfalls ein Original, freundlich aufgeschlossen und eine wahnsinns Köchin. Der Ort Sobrio ist eine Perle sondergleichen und ist zum Wandern und Ausspannen sehr gut geeignet.

Venivo sempre qua da piccolo dopo la passeggiata dai monti di Bodio a Sobrio. Ottima osteria per provare dei prodotti locali e rilassarsi sulla terrazza esterna con vista sulle montagne.
